Buddhist monk chops off his penis!!!
A Thai Buddhist monk cut off his penis with a machete because he had an erection during meditation and declined to have it reattached, saying he had renounced all earthly cares, a doctor and a newspaper said.
The 35-year-old monk, whose name was withheld for privacy reasons, allowed medical staff at Maharaj hospital, 780 km south of Bangkok to dress his wound, but refused reattachment, hospital chief Prawing Euanontouch said yesterday.
“We cleaned up the wound, gave him some stitches, but he declined to have it reattached because he said had abandoned everything,” Prawing said over the telephone.
Prawing declined to comment on the monk’s erection, which Bangkok-based Kom Chad Luk tabloid reported on its Web site.

So far everyone here has criticized this man for what he has done. I do not know much about monks but I do know that he knows something we don’t. In America, and everywhere else we are surrounded by forms of control that tell us what to think, for example, who the hell said big tits were attractive. 5oo years ago attractive women were fat. The fatter the woman the more you impressed your friends. What I’m saying is that this man doesn’t live by our standards if he wants to chop off his dick to increase spiritual; enlightenment then so be it.

I would suggest this (chop the organ) must be consitutionally made mandatory for people who attain the Mukthi. Why do they need after that? This will help out to clean up their society. hope not an bad idea !!!
