You would think that the train would at least slow down when approaching a station! Or at least avoid the track adjacent to the platform… Thats just downright unsafe …

well DesiDogg as far as I know - there is always an announcement on the smaller railway stns saying shatabdi /rajdhani is passing by so please stay away from the edge of the platform. I agree that the train should not hv taken the outer track and not takn the track closer to platform but then why are the FOB built at the station - precisely to avoid such close shaves. anyways, the importatn point is that this couple escaped.

The station where this video was shot by my friend is Faridabad Newtown. Faridabad has 3 station. Old Faridabad, Faridabad Newtown and Ballabhgarh.
So this is the 2nd station. The bridge u see in the picture is a toll bridge connecting the inner city ( NIT Market to be precise) to Mathura Road (NH-2)

crazy video. makes you think how fast the express is going… and india is always india. damm couple thought it was a slow train.
to desi dogg: its the shatabti super fast express, if it slows down it’ll be called the vikram shila express (which takes about 3 days from delhi to patna… chain pulling, looting, etc. hhehehe).
and we have more ppl asking for faster trains (me one of them), guess we SURELY cant handle them. if this was a bullet, it would have taken the old man with it.. LOL.

as to my knowledge goes, this is the delhi-bhopal shatabdi. this is the fastest train in india between delhi-agra, and runs at a top speed of 150 kmph! whichever the train, it was foolish of the couple to do such a thing!
