Casino Royale - Best Bond movie ever?
Finally the movie we all have been eagerly waiting for has arrived. Critics and fans have both liked the new Bond movie as well as the new Bond Daniel Craig. As we all know, this wasn’t the case when the choice of the new Bond was annouced. But Daniel Craig has emerged triumphant and so has the movie! Some are already calling it the best Bond movie ever. I didn’t read any review and headed to the cineplex without any clue besides watching a trailer. I have loved bond movies especially when sean connery and roger moore was in it. But it all changed when brosnan was Bond, he didn’t look that strong and his female counterpart looked so much stronger than he did.
Daniel Craig was definitely superb in his role as 007. He looks so much better that brosnan and everything in that movie has that ‘bond’ flavour which i have been craving ever since roger moore and sean connery left. I am so glad i watched the movie without any expectation and now i can say Yes this could be one of the best bond movie ever.
Long story short, go watch the movie ppl. don’t read spoilers or reviews that are too deep

trust me…if u wish to see the stunts you are used to seeing in Bond movies then this is not the movie for you…his fancy car is not used even in one stunt…he gets it and wrecks it…lots of setiment…slow as a snail…and a climax which leaves you wondering what the hell ! stay well away !!!!

guys this movie reflects cinema to its best with doses of good action, romance and a story with twists.this movie will make all the action sequences in our desi movies look like cartoons (don for example). dont mind paying 150 bucks again to see this movie rather than spending money seeing bollywood films released recently like vivaah n apna sapna (utter crap)

It is okay! Not worth stating the best BOND movie ever! Until the last frame he never states the infamous “I am bond.. James Bond” or even the Bond tune is never used in the entire movie.
Start of the movie excluding a foot chase (if anyone has watched the French movie D15), you will know that bond director just copied the entire chase when the guys will jump from building to building in ease (no tricks, it is real deal), apart from that, no spectacular fights or action, in the end it becomes just talk, talk, talk and more talking only and finally a lot of poker which we Indians don’t have a clue.
No spy gadgets, no scene of the scientist showing the latest gadgets nothing. Even the car is a basic one. I would state that the bond makers have decided to take a risk by deviating from the original bond movies, hope it works for them.
Overall. the movie is just okay, not worth going ga ga ga…

best bond movie ever??? have you gone nuts…i had seen this movie on very first day..when we say it is bond movie..what we expect..?? action?? some cool Gagets?? nice cars?? nice girls???……..surprisingly you will not find any of this is this movie….it is 2 hr 30 min long movie…and still it has nothing but some good dialogues……..its a bond love story…….i will suggest do not waste your money on it..just watch it on DVD when you get it…worth watch on DVD but not wasting more money…

ya, bond movies generally show sophisticated technology, latest arms and an invincible bond.. this movie is more realistic and natural , the initial and end fight sequences are excellent.. though the sex scenes hv been censoured in India & i hope to find them here

It depends… if u started seeing bond from pierc brosnan, u actually have no idea why James Bond is renowned all over… Brosnan was the sexiest bond, but if u see what makes Bond so appealing, you need to see Sean Connery and now, Daniel Craig. Did u ever think that Bond movies became famous for gadgets and cars… then u must find XXX and its sequel more enchanting… its always about Bond… Brosnan destroyed that feel and craig gets it back…

The movie wasn all that gr8…Craig looks too rough and edgy to play bond, and he utters “The name is Bond…James Bond” only in the last frame…the girls aint hot, toooo skinny….movie doesn have Mr. Q!!!!! so that robs bond of all the gadgetry we’d love to see…stunts and action were way better in the 1960’s than in this one….climax was a major let down and the game of poker looks so silly cause only bond and the villain keep playin and others sit there like dummies….this bond got the body but aint got the class and style….and well for the movie, it’s pretty average def not the best bond film ever

Guys, movie is so so. Certainly cannot be reated as best of them all. Best part is when Bond gives his resignation. Is it a beginning or end of new Bond? Its like Hindi Movie, especially in end, over——streched love story. Bond is a shorty. Is in good shape, but still shorty. Villain is also not so fear some. This bond needs time and practice and more movies to mature.
But, can never reach to the height of Cean Connory. He was best of them all.

Character was given more build-up to increase charm of the New charmless Bond, Good dialogues at a couple of places, but no great cars, no Bond gadgets surprisingly. Worst thing, yz bond music never played? Good for first time and worth as a DVD. Craig dint flirt much like a usual bond.

the stunts look good, really awesome. there is no use of the new technologies that we see in every bond movie.then ian has shown that a bond can be rough.well who need a rough guy we need the cool british man who does everything stylishly and one important thing the initial thrust that the director sur did give in the start of the film has failed to impress at the finish.all of a sudden the movie ends

The story is based on the first novel when bond earned the status of 007, hence he does not use his name till the end, cause that when he has real earmed the 007 status.
As far as it goes for the gagets and hi tech suff, the movie is based very near to the novel , hence no hi fundu stuff.
However, a good moive , worth watching it once.

I think this movie deserves applause coz its different. As mentioned in some review site, its more realistic “it follows basic rules of physics” which some of the movies in the past ignored - vanishing car, anyone??
Bond plays his roll well. Eva Green rocks. I fell in love with her after watching the movie. The script could have done justice to her. But I was told its as close as possible to the original book.
The comments can go on and on, but I think, I give this movie 8/10 for being down to earth.
I am sure some scenes were cut from my show, as it was not 2h 30min movie. waiting for the dvd to come.

awesome movie.shows character build-up of bond. sticks quite close to the novel. the climax is good, but tragic……….but (i hope), we knew what was going to happen finally (’cuz its based on the novel by Ian Fleming)

Its one of the finest bond movies, brought back the essence of old bond movies in present times. Actually the movie is about making of Bond we know of the sleak and refined bond from a tough, arogant and emotonal young bond. Movie makers had tried to revive the orignality lost since long with anew begining aproach.
Frankly, I didnt liked the idea of replacing brosnan and had seen craig in other movies too, but after watching the movie without gadgets, Q, money penny, big actions I still liked to extent of best ever in my times.
Reason we find bond saying Bond .. James bond… once because all that happened to him in movie especially a heart break and true love, made him the bond in the end of whom we knoew off. Go watc it dont ruin your mood on pirated scum dvds…

i was totally thrilled watching this movie
the first chase shot at Madagascar is totally mindblowing
the stunts are totally daredevil and Daniel has done it
in the most perfect way he could
the action sequences in this movie are way too good
and the flow of the movie is also very well maintained
after watching the movie one would definitely be excited
i think Craig has definitely made his impact in this movie
I also believ that Craig is the best Bond till date……….

the movie is good,
for some reasons,
but the flow is the worst,
and there is very little action or exictment in it,
its not like the regular bond movies,
infact its not a bond movie at all,
its an arts movie with one action scene in it,
which is in madagascar.
thats it,
and daniel craig has a very stubborn face,
without any kind of expressions,
no reactions at all just cold and dead calm.
he is the worst bond ever,
he is too arrogant to be bond,
bond has to be stylish and not arrogant.
he is the worst bond,
even timothy dalton was better than him.

Bond movies are meant for Gadgets, Girls and Chases (Probably with the Girls again). All of these were not there. Well they had a chase in the beginning of the movie..similar to the legendary chinese movies, jumping from walls to walls roof to roof. The movie was too long and in the beginning, I almost took it for Spiderman. The end was too draggy, and not bond style which always ends with bond making love with the woman. I guess it was an OK movie, even Transporter 2 was a better movie than this

Most crapest bond movie ever….from the begining bond was emmbaraced by black runner then Miss M asked him straightaway PLZ DO NOT EVER COME TO MY HOME she never said to any bond b4r,than bond girl OMG to be true there was no bond girl in this movie first ever bond movie widout BOND GIRL who ever she was in this movie she refused bond not to give money to play another game bcuz of his ego and he had no word to say emmbaraced again even he cant save that girl as well and could find Mr villan in end until he found a txt msg what she left behind.
