OK friends, it’s Diwali weekend and Jaan-E-Mann & Don hit the screens at the same time. Can’t wait to see both of them. My gut feeling says that Jaan-E-Mann will take a bigger opening than Don. What do you think. Which of the two are you eager to see the most? Post your thoughts in the comments. May both the movies become super-duper hits.

while DON looks very slick I too think JaanEMann is the real deal. The way Akshay and Salman are looking in the promos, I think we are in for some gripping drama and a rollercoaster of emotions.

While both are promising, i feel Jaan-E-Mann will be more suited for the diwali weekend, i bet on it. No disrespect to Don, but even though its a Farhan Akhtar film, and starring Shah-rukh(whose not known for his action roles), Jaan-E-Mann should sustain for many more weeks than Don.
I really hope they both do well.

All,
I watched Jaan-e-mann yesterday and was thoroughly dissappointed. It is a pathetic movie with utterly stupid humor. The whole first part sucks to a maximum. With class actors in the movie, not only they have been wasted, but also the director has made a fool of himself. I would say you can totally avoid this movie.
I am watching DON today and let you know my opinions after i am done

seee…don tkts were sold out at 1st day…and jaaneman were still there…..this shows which is super hit….and king khan is in Don…and i saw it at 1st day….the twist of the film is a big twist….so Don’s the hit than jaanemann

SRK rocks in Don and the movie survives because of him only. Direction of Farhan disappoints although. Overall a good remake to watch. I’ve not seen Jaanemaan but assume that it’ll be a good one.

hey i saw jaaneman it has been beautifully directed and it think it will be a bigger hit in the long run compared to don even the reviews have given better rating to jaaneman than don and it is being said that Shahrukh has made a mockery of the role,

Shahrukh is a great emotional actor but a not good action star.. So Don is automatically fucked.. Just look at him twisting his mouth in every scene, trying to look like a villain!!!
Akshay Kumar is an average actor.. And Salman Khan!! Whoever thinks he knows how to act is a fucked up person.. Emotions?? You’d rather see an erection than see him enacting emotions…

DON made a good opening in Kerala
Although a remake; it has received a good mouth publicity especially by Youth.
Nice perform SRK, Priyanka, Om Puri. Godd Action, Special effects, Camera and a well written screen play.
Jaan e mann is just watchable although peroming as an average film

Don is remixed in American style, i mean look at Priyanka Chopra she looks like an American slut…..yukkkk
The songs are also remixed in american musical instruments……i wonder when they remix the song why tabla is replaced by electronic beats which sounds totaly artifical. I mean look at the remixed song “Khaike Paan”. This was a Bihari folk song, but now the overall feel of this song is suited for dance floors hippies only.
Globalisation means accepting American superiority in every thing we do, even in arts, culture and music. As is we dont have our own cultural identity, as if our culture is inferior to theirs. When will this slave mentality end?
