Killed for saving girl from molester!
A shopkeeper was murdered when he tried to save a young girl who was teased and molested by some local goons. The rogues also tried to strip the girl publicly.
The incident occurred in the Cantonment area of Lucknow. Four goons who saw a girl passing by first taunted her and then made vulgar signs.
Not realizing, the girl slapped one of them. Thereafter, the goons tore her blouse and publicly pumped her bare breast. They troubled her till she started crying loudly.
The goons then tried to strip her. Unable to control himself, a shopkeeper named Shalik Yadav told the goons to stop troubling the girl or else he would call the police. He pounced upon one of them and bashed them.
The youths vanished at that time but came again with reinforcement of a gang of more than a dozen armed persons.
They destroyed Yadav’s shop and bashed him with iron chain and rods. Shalik’s head was smashed badly.
Soon, a crowd gathered outside Yadav’s shop hurled brickbats at the goons. It literally turned into a gang war but the police did not reach the scene despite information.
Shalik succumbed to his injuries on the spot as a result of fatal beating. To cover up the lapse, Senior Superintendent of Police GK Goswami has placed sub-inspector Nagendra Singh and two cops under suspension on charge of dereliction of duty.

we salute to the bold n fearless attitude of mr shalik yadav, which cost him his dear life , as we all know tht those goons will be back to normal work which usually happens in india, but with people like mr shalik things can really change. i recommend EAR FOR A EAR

Even if those goons are caught, they will be let free… no witness will come forward, the girl must have vanished and will not surface again… and what were the public doing when they saw this incident ? why couldnt they have killed those goons then and there?

This incident happening in broad daylight in capital city of UP and except fo one person, no one was the mard in the city to
come to protect the girl from goons.
What is the UP government and “mullah” Mulayam doing with the goons? When there is no governance this will happen,
be it Lucknow, Delhi or chennai.

Very good and emotional comments. But it will not happen in our country. The goons are definately workers of any political party. Their boss will save them from police custody. The case will continue for 4-10 years, then they will be freed. This is the system in our country. The women organisation should come forward and support the girl to give the witenss in court so as to punish those bastards otherwise no one will come forward to rescue such victims.

First of all, who was the person reporting this incident. Anyway, Initially there were only four people misbehaving with a girl. Then they were joined by more than a dozen which means (More than 12+ people) and these many people are ready to harress, cause property damage and ready to kill people. How come this many people with twisted minds, bad intentions are wandering in a group and police haven’t traced them earlier? Does policemen also belong to this group, could be… This shows the plight of law in most parts of our country.
By the way, The girl should not have slapped the person inspite of him being in a ruffian group and that too 1:4 is a poor combination. After that only they reacted very badly. She should hav known better to leave the place and run away. After all the ruffians were not coming after her initially. She just sparked their evil minds. The brave shopkeeper should have known better. After thrashing them, he should have been aware of the consequences and should have been alert to their reactions. 1:12+ is definitely impossible to handle.
By the way, i agree with all about what should be done to these goons. After all i dont consider them as a human being. Remorseless lust loving beings who can’t live a life peacefully.
Girl - It will take a long time for that girl to come out of this incident and live a peaceful life since a life has been lost on account of her (Not Intentionally anyway).
Shalik - Good to know that such brave souls still exist!
Goons - The Group should be separated and each one should be treated separately.

I dont support any body’s suggestion for punishment or Killing. Such acts would be very easy. We should do some thing which would set example for others. In my opinion all hands and all Legs of the goons and their saviour politicians should be CUT and they be left to lead a normal life so that when other people see them they would enquire in curiosity as to reasons for losing all hands and legs. This would leave a lasting impression on all those who see them and serve as a lesson for every body.

From the bottom of my heart i salute Mr. Yadav, off course it’s useless, since he is already dead. So what is the point of such tribute ? I am sure 99% of the commenters in here ( including me) would not be brave enough to replace mr Yadav if such a incident took place in front of us. And it is not because of personal safety, it’ because of retribution like that was carried by the goons once they were stopped initially. The fucking police can’t do it’s duty and if some one does it for them they can’t fucking protect us from retribution carried out by the goons later. My solution would be to note the wrong doing persons, and later when they have forgotten all about it, THEN, grab them when they are alone, and simply erase their existance. That is the only solution. FINAL SOLUTION .

Note those goons faces, and some day when they have forgotten this mess, when their guard is down , killl them ONE - BY - ONE, by accident, NATURAL CAUSES , wish their was some underground society or group as shown in movies, people who were willing to take revenge on behalf of comman man.
