As a Pakistani our Mujras - sordid compared to artistic Indian dancing - are expression of a soul searching for itself since 1947. A severed cultural, ethnic and biological affinity keeps reaching out to a lost past. Manto wrote in his Toba Tek Singh (TTS) story how a Sikh inmate is confused and refuses to leave because he can’t go back to TTS as it is now in Pakistan. That confusion still remains in our physce. Agree. But Mullah’s in parliament and mosques have been preaching a ban on music and dancing as it is unislamic and have done so in NWFP. To them indian movies and videos on cable undermine their faith even though most mullah families are wired to cable and internet. Mullahs and their woman (they go for 4 wives) are more promiscuous, watch more cable, produce more babies than an average working person. They stop mixed marathons, healthy debate and unneccesarily issue fatwas on issues like women’s dress code ala Sania Mirza, etc., As a Lahori and an Indian prior to 1947, having seen live Mujrahs I can say they are a breath of fresh air in stale surroundings. An expression of sexuality -as Seskey says expressed crudely. Sexual liberty threatens Mullahs more than anything else. Therefore please keep posting Mujrahs and keep the good looking babes dancing on cable. This is the best way to destroy the Mullah and all that he stands for. Remember, our soul is that of sons of the soil. Mullah is an alien among us.

This showed how bad taste for dance you got, and how much sickening mind you got about dancing. About Pakistan being supressed by Mullahs, OR Sania Mirza’s clothing! “Words of Wisdom”
There is nothing like religion in this world. They have been different lifestyles characterized by the way people worship god. Selfish people divided us in religions and we are following them like dumb and will keep on doing that. As far as Mujra videos are concerned, they have been in practice for long and their style and expression has been changing depending upon the time. It changed from Mujra to pole dancing or crazy horse, but its the same.
Anyways, for me most of these videos are monotonous, so I am not interested in them much too.

LOL u lot r totally mixed up. Dancing is expressing oneself. Exposing oneself even while dancing is called pornography. Howeva pious one might b…by viewing such illicit stuff not only does the person become a hypocrete but also a sumone who has sin(dat is if u r really pious).

These girls are mainly from the red-light area with hardly any worthy appearance on TV or films except Khushboo, Nargis and Deedar and all of the three did not go topless in any mujra till now.
