Coins cover Rakhi’s modesty!
This is one girl who doesn’t believe in hiding her assets. Rakhi Sawant will soon be seen wearing nothing but 2000 coins of Rs 1 each and says she’s delighted with the public display of wealth.
The ‘Mirchi’ girl gave up clothes for coins while shooting an item song for her brother Rakesh Sawant’s film Hot Money. Appropriately, the song is titled ‘Paisa Khuda hai’ (Money is God).
“The film talk about the importance of money in a person’s life. My brother asked me to do an item number where I am wearing a dress that’s made up of Rs 1 coins. There are 2000 coins in all in this outfit and believe me, it looks gorgeous. Since I have no problems exposing, only the important parts of my body are covered by coins. I am completely unclothed except my breasts, a little bit of my back and lower part of my body,” she says.
Rakhi is confident that the spectacle will drive audiences wild.
“This is the first time that such a dance sequence has been shot for the Indian screen. Usually costumes can cost anything from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh, but I will be wearing something that costs just Rs 2000. The shooting for this song happened on eight different locations and it was a great experience,” she raves.
“I am sure this song will create ripples in the industry. My breasts are covered with coins and when I shake with the music, they vibrate and there’s a lovely clinking sound. My brother has designed this dress especially for me,” adds the Bollywood Bombshell.
But despite all the fulsome praise for Rakesh who’s earlier directed Negar Khan in Hello..Kaun Hai, Rakhi admits she’s not keen to work with him again.
According to her: “I am doing just this item song. I don’t look forward to acting his films because it’s not good for a sister to work in her brother’s film. Somehow I don’t feel comfortable with the idea. But when he requested me to do an item number, I couldn’t say no.”
