Question. If the wife is a year older than the husband, will it affect the chances of having male child, or even conceiving? What are pros and cons of this kind of marriage, according to you? Please help.
Answer. An age difference does not affect conception or sex of the child. There are no pros and cons of such a marriage, either.

Why do you specifically need a boy? What's wrong with a girl child?
I prefer my first child to be a girl. I adore baby girl. They make your world more beautiful than a baby boy do, trust me.

I agree with Arvint.
Secondly, the sex of the child is caused by the father. The mother has nothing to do with it.
Thirdly, there is no drawback of this marriage.
