Question. I am 21 years old and two months pregnant. My doctor has advised me to refrain from sex for the first three months. However, my husband maintains that attaining orgasm via fingering or oral sex will not affect the baby and that refraining from peno-vaginal sex for three months is enough. Is that correct? Please reply.
Answer. Your doctor has asked you to abstain as an orgasm triggers spasmodic contractions which may dislodge the fertilised egg. And so will anything that will produce spasmodic contractions (like your husband performing oral sex on you). However you can help with his orgasm by performing oral sex on him (or helping him masturbate).
