Sex Advice: Headache due to masturbation?

Question. I am 18 years old. I masturbate regularly, sometimes two to three times a day. However, in the last few days, every time I start masturbating, the right side of my head pains a lot. When I stop, the pain gradually subsides. Why does that happen? Is it due to cold or sinus problem? I’m very worried. Please help.

Answer. It is highly unlikely that masturbation is responsible. Refrain from it for some days, take treatment for the problem and then check if the same symptoms recur.

Actually, the same problem happenned with me about 2 months ago.

Whenever I started masturbation, suddenly there used to be headache as if someone is hammering from the inside to the outside of the head with increasing speed.

If I stop doing it, the headache used to subside. I also checked by BP, it used to be very high with the headache.

I also got afraid and consulted a few doctors, my GP and a Neuro Specialist. They told me its common problem, if I am being highly stressed due to some other problem.

Lose your stress and stop thinking about this problem. Don't do it for several days, after that again start it. You will be cured.

Even if not, consult a doctor.

Hey .. it happened to me before.
You just need to take some vitamins and relaxants ...
Don't masturbate for 1 week.

You would be fine

You're probably holding your breath in excitement, thus creating a throbbing in your head. Relax when you masterbate. Try to breath normally.

Masturbation causes ur heart rate to increase n this puts pressure on ur blood vessels. This is not uncommon and nothing to worry as long as its not too bad.
Dont compromise on eating n sleeping. Low blood sugar and sleeplessness aggravates the problem.

I have also experienced the same specially when i did excessively. i have even experienced muscles pulling or strains when masturbating excessively. I think 4 times a week doesnt hurt but going way over that limit starts to hurt your body a bit but i guess does not cause any injury, atleast i havent experienced it until now after so many years of regular masturbating. What i think is that your sugar level goes low and lot of your energy gets consumed away, due to which this could happen but then you eat a lot to fullfil your need and most of the time you end up eating more than needed and in turn gaining weight. I think masturbation does make you lose your useful energy but doesnt exactly burn your calories or make you lose fats. Then you eat to gain your energy but your previous food hasnt completely digested and you end up getting fat to maintain your required energy level. I am telling you all this from my body experience, i aint no specialist in this.

yes, it may happen..!! Some times while masturbation or the sexual intercourse, severe headache (frontal or rear) can be experienced. The headache may be so severe that the activity can not be continued with and it has to be restrained. The appropriate medical advice is solicited and after medication, the problem can easily be cured..!!!

So friend, it is not only you who have been suffering from this problem but with medical help, you may continue and enjoy it again without any riders attached..!!

This sort of head ache is known as sexual benign head ache. And as the name suggests, it is benign or harmless. Doctors are yet to find a proper reason for this, though most attribute it to stress. Easiest way out is to refrain for 1-2 weeks from masturbation or intercourse. If it does not help, consult a doctor, and he will prescribe medication. What I said is From experience, Im not a doctor.
