Police officials said that over 40 boys and girls had gathered for the party. Some of them fled after the police arrived, but those who were completely drunk were rounded up and taken to a government hospital for medical examination.

I've heard of this incidence. This is not a latest news. According to my sources, a party was going on there and suddenly a fight started (Don't know why). Girls were coming out of the plaza either with teared clothes or naked and boys were stopping them to go out and they were pushing girls into cars to leave the location. High drama was witnessed in the city today when a young girl in an inebriated condition was chased by the police after she left hotel Jeewan Plaza in the railway crossing No. 22 area.
The entire incident took place in front of mediapersons who were present at the hotel to cover the press conference of a Punjabi singer. Sources said a private party was also going on at the hotel and a number of girls and boys were dancing in a drunken state. At the end of the party, boys offered to escort them in their cars, but the girls refused.
On seeing the police, the boys fled from the scene in their flashy cars. One of the girls tried to run away from the hotel, but was chased by the cops. A cop managed to catch the girl, but could only get her shirt. The girl, who was in touch with some of her friends on her mobile, managed to escape in a car. However, before escaping, the girl slapped the cop, who slapped back the girls.
Soon, the SP (City) and the DSP arrived at the hotel to calm down things. The SP said the police were inquiring into the incident.
Interestingly, when the cops caught hold of the girl and asked her to reveal her identity, she said she was the daughter of a DSP. Another girl said she was the daughter of a DIG. Sources revealed that such parties were a routine at places like 22 No. railway crossing. The police have yet to register a case against the offenders.
