One has to agree with the advisor that women are generally very understanding and you should approach the problem tentatively first understanding the thinking on such issues of your partner and then as the relationship progresses there is an element of trust that comes into reckoning. Then when you feel comfortable enough broach the topic with your partner presenting it in a manner wherein you can easily pull back if there isn't a positive nod. All this will though take time. Usually the better exchange in a relationship is after the parties involved have had a trustable relationship going for some time. Good luck and don t worry. Women usually give space. You have to tell your partner in a way that you also indulge is something she likes.
