A few days ago, Amitabh Bachchan saw Sivaji in India after he got a personal invitation from Rajinikant. After the previous post on Sivaji, there were lot of comments which were unnecessarily racist and both, North & South Indians having a go at each other which I thought was really in poor taste and immature. Please refrain from doing so in the future. We are Indians first and Indians only. Reminds me a good thought written by a guy to the editor of a newspaper that we should be lucky to have two such legends in our country at the same time. What a wonderful thought. And Rajinikant has himself said recently that if he is the king of acting then Amitabh is the Emperor.
I finally managed to see Sivaji a few days ago and I was a bit disappointed with the first half which was a real waste but the second half more than made up for it. The way Rajini Sir pulls the film is really Cool !!!

Its a shame on us Indians to give such an importance to a movie. The movie is a total waste except some scenes. I used to love Rajini's old movies but the new ones are just irritating me.
If he and Shankar talk about black money of politicians, who will talk about their black money they made from this movie?
Bullshit theme, it can happen only in movies. Indian movies (both south and north) are making Indians not only fools but force them to live in a fantasy land.
God save India from these foolish comedians.

You know guyz with all the North and South bashing going on over Sivaji, I heard comments both from Bachhan Saheb and Rajni Sir, and you guyz need to really need to hear them. They both love and respect each other. Bachhan Saheb called him his brother and a wonderful actor. On the other hand Rajni sir called Bachhan Saheb an amazing actor whom he can not parallel. Such an attitude and humility puts both these actors beyound the rest. When both of them have absolutely no problem with each other, who are we to create a non existent rift between them in any way? They both have their own niche and are doing wonderful service to the nation. Kudos to them both.

Movies are supposed to be realastic and from fantasy. Gulliver travels, a fantasy is a classic. Fantasy is more important than reality as fantasy pulls the human in direction of growth. somebody fantasised about flying, moving on a vehicle etc.
but please tell me, ... I cannot understand tamil ... so is it possible for me to watch Sivaji in hindi/english or some other way?
Editor's Reply:- Dear Friend, right now you can't watch the movie with Hindi or English subtitles but I assure you that you will enjoy the movie even if you watch it in Tamil. Half the people watching the movie in Mumbai and Delhi are non-Tamils. Just make sure you watch it in the theatre. The atmosphere is electrifying!

There is no sense in comparing Rajni with Amitabh..If Amitabh make only 1 picture for every 2 or 3 years, then also the collections will be more than a Rajni's movie..and he will get such a huge craze..But I dont say that Amitabh is greater than Rajni...both are gr8..

buddy the gud thing that happened in bollywood was increasing dilution of superstars & focus on new stars/directors/musicians.....movies is a creative domain, so old make way for new....now franchising let creativity survive......but till the time tribal cults exist....some old wags will continue to mint money.....one gud thing about Rajni is,he is totally unpretentious behind camera....but that mabbe because fans makeup for it more than anything else....don't think we can blur the regional marginilazations...aslong as it gives supressed geographies to be happy bout something....got the intellectual masturbation....now geton with the real thingie....painchutes...

Gosh, that SMS joke was amazingly hilarious. Had a good laugh.
Keep in mind that this movie is made giving it a pure 'Forumla' or Masala image or what in South India they term it as a 'Commercial' movie. And the strategy is to have comedy genre for the first 40% of the reel, break with a turning point and the have the gist for the rest. This movie is targeted for the common people, grades no bar. So obviously there will be one or two scenes not satisfying one or the other grades of people. And Shankar knows better the taste of the mob and how to draw revenues. The fact is that the movie created history and some surprises and some jealousy, nothing more and nothing less !

sir this is extraordinory movie no word to coment about it if you see it for thousand timesthe film wont get bored so pls watchinb this movie Rajnikanth will be the lion in the whole film industry
