Q. I read somewhere that sugar in vagina is not good for my vagina. Why is this? What will it do to me?
A. The primary danger of sugar in your vagina is that some people believe it increases the risk of yeast infections. The vagina is full of microorganisms, a number of which can feed on sugar (there seems to be some debate about this, but it's probably better to be safe). Depending on what you had in mind, there might be a safer sugar-free option (sugar-free whipped cream instead of regular whipped cream, for example). There are also a wide variety of flavoured lubricants . These might be your best bet, because they're designed and tested for vaginal use and have no sugar in them.
