Q. When my boyfriend ejaculates inside of me, his semen falls out. Sometimes right away, and sometimes up to hours later. Is there something wrong with the semen or one of us? What can we do to prevent/lessen this problem?
A. It's definitely normal. The "flowback" as it's called is comprised mostly of semen and includes some vaginal fluids. It's the cause of the post-sex "wet spot" that you hear about sometimes.
To prevent wet spot, try putting on a pair of underwear to soak up the flowback. Another possibility is to use a condom, which will trap most of the fluid.
